What to expect

About your session

We aim to create a relaxing atmosphere, so you will be welcomed to the studio with a beverage of your choice and some nibbles. 

You would have already talked to our photographer about your requirements on the phone or via email prior to your arrival however on photoshoot day please feel free to ask any further questions that you require.

After your headshot session, you will be sent a link to your own private gallery to choose your favourite image(s) which will be retouched and sent back to you within 48 hours or sooner should you need them.  

What’s the difference between a headshot and a portrait?

There is a distinct difference between a portrait or portraiture photograph and a headshot.  A portrait involves a person or groups of people that captures the personality by using tools such as backdrops, lighting and poses etc and are generally more artistic.   A headshot aims to realistically capture a person’s appearance and have traditionally been used by actors, singers, models, businesses persons and more recently by everyday people wanting a professional picture for social media, LinkedIn, about us pages on websites, profile pictures for dating websites and personal branding.
